Happy birthday, Heather. I just want to say how much I miss you - not a minute goes by that I don't think of you.

You were loved before you came into this world - by mom and dad and a big sister who was SO excited. You were loved while you were here - I don't know if you realized how much. And you'll be loved every minute we spend without you.

I know that you're with us always. You laugh with us when we find joy; lift us up when the grief becomes too much to carry; hold our hands when we feel so alone. One day that will bring me comfort but until then, little sister, you'll have to forgive me my tears and be patient with me.

I love you. Happy 30th birthday.
