Argh, my eyeballs!

Every once in a while, my eyes will decide "The light, it burns us!" and refuse to function properly.  It's only gotten really bad a few times (I had to ask Ben to drive us home from the metro a few times a couple years back) but even when it's not that bad, it's still really annoying.  The light hurts and it's hard to make my eyes focus from time to time - it's like everything in my line of sight is going through a mini-earthquake.

Today's episode was brought on by the bad allergy attack from yesterday but it can sometimes happen if I'm really tired, too.  I'm having my eyes checked soon so this might be something I want to bring up when I go see them.

Even the lights in the office are too bright for me and I long for my sunglasses.

You, my dear, sound like you're having migraines. The visual phenomena is the big clue. Take care of yourself - caffeine and ibuprofen both help, and so does not staring at a computer screen (not that you can help this).

I think it's the weather. My headache from Saturday still isn't gone, ugh.

I was about to say, it sounds like potential migraines, especially with the issues with focusing the eyes.
