Oh god ...

I am never going to finish The Stand and, in fact, it might be one of the books they send with me to the nursing home. (No, it's great, I'm loving it but at what point in his career did King start getting paid by the weight and heft of the books?) It won't fit in the purse and I'm tempted to buy it a purse of its own.
Also, in TV news, I quite like Person of Interest. I've seen the first two episodes and I'm quite intrigued by the whole show. It helps that mom likes it, so it's now on DVR rotation - we've got three taped that we both need to watch. Along with Once Upon a Time, which I've heard great things about, and we're checking out Grimm tomorrow night. And Bones starts up next week!
So if The Stand doesn't make me collapse under its weight, I'll have a few things to watch.

Date: 2011-10-28 03:08 pm (UTC)You know, I really tried to get into it and I read the first ... 3? But then I just couldn't continue, I couldn't easily keep up with the numerous characters. And when the last one came out, the idea of re-reading it all again just made me run the other way. ;)
