Ah, one of my - many - tongue in cheek icons. I have no idea what that turtle is doing but doesn't he look like he's flying? And if he's flying, he probably thinks he's a bird, right? Generally, I use this when I'm in one of Those Moods. ;)

One day, I happened upon a commercial for a host of a British show who was saying this, complete with clawing hand marks during the 'raar' part. I found it to be highly amusing and it's another one of my "I'm not being serious at all" icons.

I made this right after I saw the movie, because I really like doing icons of movies I enjoy. This is kind of - frustration / despair icon, I guess, considering the tone and the words.

Oh, evil muffin of doom! Another tongue in cheek one, I made this from Kawaii Not.

I will not eat bugs, thank you very much. Another amusing one but I sometimes also use this sheepish, embarrassed and in trouble kind of LJ posts.

Brian Blessed, looking very excited, which is always generally how you want to have Brian Blessed look. I think you can tell from the art and the yellow background where I got it from; this is an icon I like to use for Overexcited Outdoor Voice reactions. I think it gets the point across.

Pascal! The cutest Disney lizard ever! Not only is Tangled the cutest movie ever but Pascal's adorable and hilarious. This is the perfect icon for those times where I want to convey grumpiness with a touch of hilarity. The scowl is just perfect.
Baby duck love! I can't remember what X-Men comic thing this is from but they find all these baby ducks and the one crushing on Warren is so cute. It's one of my 'I love you' icons that I like to use for friends and family - I've got like three or four of them but I think my comic book friends get a kick out of this one the most.
I haven't watched a lot of Fringe, though I own the first season, but I really really liked the posters they did for it. This is my wondrous icon and I like to use it when I talk movies, books and writing.

Ages ago, I asked for icons from friends that reminded them, somehow, of me. This is what
ferox came back with I use it as one of my feeling pretty posts. It's still one of my favorites, especially as it was an unexpected choice (at least for me).
One of my bad day icons - the struggle to pull yourself up out of the hole you've fallen in. I think I did this when I did a winter theme and it's remained one of my favorites of the ones that I did.
You know, I cannot remember where this is from - some webcomic, I think? There's another one that is linked to this and they're both the shocked / how could you kind of expressions. This perfectly conveys "WTF' in all sorts of ways.

I'm pretty sure this is some Linux joke - I've had this for ages and have no idea where I stole it from. It's a kind of funny "Piss off!" icon, a great way to show exactly how frustrated I currently am without being ... crass? *grins*

Ah, the bouncy elephant of doom. This was floating around for ages when I finally grabbed it. There's no rhyme or reason to when I use it - which is kind of appropriate considering, you know, the icon itself.

Ignore me! This was my favorite episode ('Twenty Years to Midnight') from the episodes of The Venture Bros. that I've seen. The Grand Galactic Inquistor wanders around, watching, but demanding that everyone IGNORE ME! It's when I don't want, obviously, to be ignored. ;)

I have no idea where I heard that at but it struck me as hilariously funny. It amuses me and I hope it amuses others when I use it.

I labeled this one as 'Faith' and 'secret smile'. There's something serene about the combination of the tattoo on her back and that half-smile that shows in the icon. It's a good icon for me to use when I'm feeling at peace with myself and the world in general.

Craig Ferguson and Ryan Reynolds - seriously funny stuff. Thinking heavy thoughts icon when, obviously, those two certainly aren't doing that. (I think they started the segment off with them chasing each other around the set.) Now, if only they could have Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock on that show together - that would be awesome.

A nod to when I used to play WoW. ;) It looks like that's what the bunny is doing and it's a sarcastic tone icon for me.

This is from the cover of Clockwork Heart by Dru Pagliassotti and one that I cannot recommend enough. That's the main character on the front, wearing her mechanical wings that she uses as a courier in her city. I break it out not very often but on occasion when I like the coloring.

Another of my favorites. This is my "no head", I've gone crazy, everything's too much icon. I tend to use it when talking about work or something that's out of my control but still is impacting me in bad ways. It's also kind of creepy.

This is one that I made and I use it for my writing posts or deep thought ones. I love the script in it, because mine is so far removed from pretty, and I have a not so secret love of magnifying glasses. This one just makes me happy.
*grins* Again, I love doing movie icons. I really think the White Queen in Alice in Wonderland was rather well done - that perfect mix of serenity and bat-shit crazy. Anne Hathaway was, as always, wonderful. It's that smile, the "I know more than you think" with "Yes, I am probably that crazy" that struck me. This is a playful / crazy icon.
This came from a shirt from Woot that had the little figure running from a dinosaur! I couldn't help but turn it into this. This comes out to play when I'm being playful or I really do feel like I'm running from something.
