My mother is a warlock. It's the only explanation for the fact that I am now 97% packed. *blinks* Whaaaat?

Seriously, the only things I have left to do are my bathroom, which will happen next week, and various little things around the house.

I think she should start a business ....

And, seriously, she's been here since Sunday but we really only packed Monday, Wednesday and tonight - she has magical powers. It's the only explanation.

That IS magical, quite frankly. I don't think I could pack that fast - though I have way too much crap.

Oh I have and, believe me, me treating her to dinner at the Melting Pot on Tuesday totally did not cover my level of gratitude.

Years and years of experience have honed her skills to a frightening level. I thought the same thing - I didn't think I'd get done until the last hour. I am totally taking tomorrow afternoon and all day Saturday off.

Yay for your Mom! Does she by any chance have any background as a military person or spouse? I'll tell you what that can cause you to learn to pack quick when needed.

*grins* Mo's right - both. My momma grew up as a military brat and then married my dad, a lifer in the State Department. We've moved a LOT during my lifetime.
