While I wait for my mom to get here, I've been packing and, good grief, I have one entire box of books that I have yet to read and there's still another twenty or thirty lurking about. PBS and the occasional shopping spree of book buying certainly has kept it high but my reading has taken a bit of a hit over the last year ...

My gift to myself this week is that if I get my bedroom 95% packed by Saturday, I'm participating in Do Nothing But Read Day (http://dnbrd.org/). And my goal in general once I move is just to read for at least an hour a day - I've really fallen far behind and I miss it.

(Why are books so heeeaaaavy?)

Only one box? I had three of unread books when I moved in December. I would probably be up to four now (I made the mistake of going to a couple of bookfairs. And got very, VERY busy.)
