Gnocchi a la Parisienne

In other words: pasta with cheese, cheese, more cheese and, oh, butter. A lot of butter. (It is delicious. However, I think I need a nap now.) I also cheated and did not make the gnocchi as making pasta still terrifies me even with one making it, or helping to make it, under my belt.
I lack the upper body strength and this simply shows me that fearing Italian grandmothers is the right thing to do. They'll punch your face in with no effort at all, thanks to making pasta by hand.

Date: 2011-05-30 03:20 am (UTC)I've really only met a handful (ironically, my dad grew up in the Italian part of Philly and was crushed to find out at, like, age 10 that they were NOT Italian) of them but they're awesome in that frightening way.
