indiana_jit's quarter til 2 and i've been stuck outside or in the lobby since like 12:15 thanks to a fire on the fourth floor of the building. we had - 5 firetrucks? and they apparently had to break several windows so I have no idea how bad it is.
All I know is that I didn't hear anything in my apartment until Marion woke me up. then I threw her into her carry bag, found my pants and purse and booked it down 14 flights of stairs.
back now, about to pass out because, of course, I took my pill about 20 minutes before this happened and I probably wasn't that coherent on the phone with Frito. had trouble walking down the hall to my apartment afterwards so i'm well and truely drugged at this point. hopefully enough to make me ignore the stench of fire and soot and god only knows what else.
