Oh my god, I just stood in snow thigh deep and tried to clear the snow around the car.  It was half successful as all of the snow is off the top but the car is stuck pretty good in the snow surrounding it - Marissa's gone to see if the office has any shovels left and if not.  Um.  Anyone have a dog and a sled I can borrow to go to the stores and, you know, work tomorrow?

Woot!  Some very, very nice neighbor loaned Marissa his shovel, so we set about getting our cars out of the snow banks.  It was hard work - 20 minutes to get mine out (and that was with the snow off the actual car itself) and longer to get hers out.  The snow around hers was at my waist.  We gave a hand to a new neighbor (same building, two floors up) who had just moved in this weekend - we'll probably run into each other again and so that's another person, potentially, to hang out with in this building. Several offers of help, too, and another shovel meant we got the neighbor out.  I really do love this complex - when I'm not frozen solid (my shoes apparently have holes in them XD) I'll talk more about my love for this place. <3

Thank good for drink - margarita's kept me sane last night and there's going to be spiked warm cider soon. :D
