I actually have a closet floor!  I no longer have a real floor because everything that was on the closet floor is now ... out ... fuck.  (Shh, part of the plan, really.)  I'm still feeling awful but I'm using my day off to tackle this room.  The basement is pretty much done though I do want to go over the kitchen stuff again.

My plan for the day to day clothes is just to bring them over on their hangers in my car instead of boxing them up - good idea, bad idea?

Jesus, I'm going to have a lot of boxes to move. *slightly panicked*

Actually, the transporting stuff on hangers is a good idea, since you have a car to do it. It'll save you packing/unpacking time. If you're worried about stuff getting dirty, just pull a garbage bag over the top of everything, poking the hanger hooks through the bottom like a dry cleaning bag.

Oohh, that's a great idea. And I think the car's going to be a huge asset for various boxes. I'm hoping that they can open the apartment up a few days before the 8th, if they do, I'll start shuttling things over by car.
