(it's a Word document, you buy the special sticker paper, print them, and as you're packing you mark what it contains and what room it goes to and if you're me, do it in colour coded ink so the movers don't have to read.)

I knoooow. And I'm having to reallyreally pinch pennies this year for DC - so, am thinking brown dress from birthday will be the formal dinner dress this year.
Re the packing - in lieu of having the Queen of Packing (i.e. me) there to help, try setting yourself a goal each evening. Two boxes packed, or so many shelves/drawers, that kind of thing? I find it tends to break up the OMG WORK!!! aspect.
What day do you move again? With the money situation improving, I might be able to manage a visit to help.
That's a good idea. I'm going to finish going through the basement this weekend, since it's a three day and it's already half done. If I do it in pieces like that, it shouldn't be that much trouble.
I move in August 8th. You know I'd never ask and if it's too soon after DexCon, I'd totally understand but if you could ... that'd be beyond awesome. With the entire house having to move out, I really can't ask the roommates for that much help so it's just my sister and myself right now.
Let me go through the work calendar on Thursday and see what I can wrangle. :) After all, it's not like I've done the "visit and help someone move house" trip before. ;)
