iPod question

A few days ago, I noticed a small black line on the screen of my iPod.  It wasn't big so I ignored it - now, though, it runs from one side to the other and seems to be collecting friends.  Anyone know if that's fixable?

I think I learned that Woot is awesome but maybe not for electronics. XD It hasn't been that long since I got this thing. I'll take a look at the Apple Care Kit and see if I can apply it to mine. If not, time to save up.

While I like my 30g one, I haven't even broken 2k, yet. So something a bit smaller until I start racking up the songs might be more cost effective.
