So, since last time:

-Murder on Astor Place (a Gaslight Mystery) by Victoria Thompson
-Working for the Devil by Lilith Saintcrow
-Van Helsing by Kevin Ryan (shut up, it has to be better than the movie)
-The Glass Harmonica by Louise Marley
-Improper English by Katie MacAlister
-Pitch Black by Frank Lauria
-A Monstrous Regiment of Women by Laurie R. King
-The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd
-Swords of Heaven (the Adventures of Hawk & Fisher) by Simon R. Green
-The Italian Secretary (a further adventure of Sherlock Holmes) by Caleb Carr *drool*

I've got three more credits currently and I'm trying to figure out what to get now.

Oh, I like the Victoria Thompson books a lot. I've read most of them. Fun characters :) And, of course, you can't lose with Laurie King. ::firm nod::

I could swear that I've read The Glass Harmonica, but for the life of me, I can't remember for sure. Which probably means I'm thinking of a different book entirely.

I read Laurie King's stuff years ago and I'm going to use this site to get back some series that I read from the library. :D I always liked Mary Russell.

Let's see ... it flips from London 1761, with an orphan girl and Benjamin Franklin and Seattle, 2018 with a musical prodigy and they're connected. Sound familiar? :D

Oh yes! I don't remember it *well* but I do remember that I enjoyed it. (Not remembering it well doesn't say anything about the writing...I have a *horrible* memory. It's one reason I like to reread books.)

I don't tend to be one for future novels (even though, wow, not so future now ;) but - Ben Franklin! I mean, really, how could I pass that up? (I'm a sucker for historical figures in books.) It looks so good.
