I am the now the proud owner of these shoes.  Aren't they adorable?  I'm sitting here after a tiring, but fun day, of shopping with my mom - we went to Sears and came out victorious.  I also discovered Gloria Vanderbilt jeans which are surprisingly comfortable and adorable; thank you, Sears, for the fantastic sales we found today.

I'm rocking in the adorable shoes, fantastic shirts and even some new make up (I found lipstick that looks good on me, too).  Plus enjoying my mom's company. 

Last night, most of the roommates, plus Lauren, and I went out with my mom for some great Italian food.  She's been treating me since she got here so I treated her to dinner.  And then she bought all of us frozen yogurt from next door, which was an instant hit with everyone.  ;)  We watched the Soup and then taught her and Lauren how to play Apples to Apples for two hours, which was a blast.

I'm going to be sad when she leaves tomorrow but it's been great having her here.

Dude! I love those shoes. I've a similiar pair in black with black suede as the upper part. They're so much fun to get around in. I swear I'd buy them in every colour if I could.

They're so cute. I needed another pair of brown shoes (though I now need navy ones...) and these just caught my eye. Huzzah for half off sales!

Half off sales are the best. Gorgeous shoes for half the price! Who could go past that? *grins* I love doing the after Christmas sales. Either that or buying my winter clothes in summer and vice versa.
