Road Dahl Pass was prettier than Wanda had been expecting - Cardiff was prettier than she'd been expecting. But she wasn't there to enjoy the scenery, sadly enough. She shot the creature standing near her a look but it ignored her.
Aliens, she thought, feeling incredibly tired.
"Look again!" it ordered, shoving at her shoulder. It had originally been holding some people hostage but she'd managed to swap them out for her. There had been chances to run but she'd been interested in seeing exactly what it wanted.
Cautiously, Wanda peered around them with her powers and mentally raised an eyebrow. Roald Dahl Plass was not what it seemed to be.
It went down. And something was moving.
"Nothing," she lied and when it's companion turned to her, it missed seeing a tall gentlemen step out of thin air. She shrugged her shoulders. "Well, look yourselves if you want to."
One did - until suddenly where it's head had been was a smoking crater. Its partner roared only to have its voice cut off in a strangled noise as it toppled over.
Wanda sniffed, red rings vanishing from her hands as she made her way to her now grinning 'savior'.
"Well, hello there," he said, extending his hand. "Captain Jack Harkness. You must be Wanda Maximoff - Emma told me you were coming."
She eyed him with a sly smile as she accepted his hand. "She told me about you as well - though obviously she neglected to tell me a few things about you."
He tucked her hand in the crook of his arm and gave her a cheery leer. "Then, Miss Maximoff, we should start to fill in the gaps, shouldn't we?"
