Things are looking good right now - friends are getting good news left and right and things are looking up on my biggest stress factor lately, money.  It helps that one of my normal bills is bout $60 less (I love the end of a cycle when it comes to insurance) and that I've been very, very good on spending lately.

Good enough that I could splurge a little bit on me and not feel guilty.  In fact, I got these shoes on sale for like $20, a few hair things (I'm drawn to copper, 'antique' looking things) and, gasp, some lipstick and eyeshadow.  *grumbles*  The makeup sale girl was TOTALLY not helpful.  "We need some help with trying to see what would look good on us."  "..."  "...oookay, why are you doing this job?"

I also ran into marag and ze family at, what else, the sushi place.  Ben: "Isn't that Mara's husband?" Me: *peeking over Ben's shoulder as we follow said husband*  "...ahaha, yes!"  One of these days we'll go there together on purpose. ;)

Today, I plan on going grocery shopping and then enjoying what should be an empty house for a few hours.  Though not naked enjoyment because we've got huge bay windows. :D

We went to Ulta 3. They were a bit overwhelming. o.O

That's not true - I let you do my makeup a few times when we went out to dinner when mom and dad were around. I just wasn't keen on doing it for my birthday.
