I really rather like Robin Hood from the BBC -- I can't lust after Will Scarlet like I normally do (hell, the character's supposed to be 18) but there's plenty of others that are nice eye candy.  Good characters, good story telling -- whee, something else to add to Netflix!

Fun, innit? As long as you can ignore the gigantic anachronisms, it's very enjoyable. I love the way all the actors seem to be enjoying themselves *so* much, just chewing scenery left and right.

*giggles* Yeah, I was wondering why some of the costumes looked...well, not quite period. ;) There's a picture of Robin Hood and I swear he's wearing a t-shirt.

But despite that, it was actually really good -- I knew it was going to be a bit campy because, well, it's part of the Robin Hood franchise and all of it has camp. But it's good camp, so very good.

I was very pleasently surprised by Robin Hood, and most pleased they got a second season. It really hits all the right notes, and does the legend in it's own style.

And as far as anachronisms go, it's better than Hercules and Xena were on that count. ;)
