We all have to eat and we're all pretty different, so what are your quirks when it comes to food?
~I prefer hot food over cold, but cold drinks over hot. I'm not a big sandwich person, I really only eat them because they're cheap and easy (...tee hee) and for the most part, I really prefer to warm things up. And it's not that it has to be expensive hot food -- soup is better than a sandwich because it's hot. On the other hand, I tend to avoid hot drinks. I prefer my tea cold, I don't drink hot chocolate much and while I don't like a lot of ice in a drink, I want something to be frozen.
I drink frozen Starbucks drinks in the dead of winter.
~I don't like soup broth. I love what's IN soup but I'm not big on the broth. It's a waste, really. (I know, this is why I can have stew but still.) I prefer my soups to have lots of stuff that I can eat, not drink. Part of this stems from when I had two teeth removed and was stuck on chicken broth for like a week -- it tastes good the first two days and then, oh god, so nasty. By the time we upgraded me to ice cream (I kept throwing everything up), I very nearly molested Karen's arm for it. But it's just a waste! There's no chunks to chew in broth! Ew.
~I drink soda's in rotation. I'll drink all Sprite Zero, then all Diet Dr. Pepper, then all Diet Coke and I'll stick with that one soda for a month or more before moving on.
~I love cheeses -- but I don't like a lot of them in solid form. Asiago, for example. I hate crumbled asiago but if you melt it, I'm all over it. Melted cheese trumps all. However, feta is wonderful in all forms.
~I hate ice cream cones and I never eat them. Also, when I eat ice cream out of them, it's apparently slightly dirty to watch. *grins* But, really, I don't like the taste of them, much the same way I don't like the taste of fortune cookies. Bland and it ruins the taste of the ice cream.
