Oh God, I feel sick.  I smell like beef jerky.

Which means I'm having acid problems.  I don't get heart burn, I think I'd know if I did, but I lived with people who did.  And whenever they had heartburn/acid reflux, it smelled like beef jerky.  (I can't eat the stuff now, actually, it turns my stomach.)  This did led to good timing of handing over bottled water/something to drink a second before they knew they needed it.  It's a bit of a hidden talent, and sometimes funny, that I kind of wish I didn't have.

But lack of heart burn aside, this does mean massive upset stomach.  Stress + probably not properly done hot dog + slightly upset stomach before that = miserable monkey.

*shudder*  Hot dog at the movie theater tonight is not sitting well on my stomach at all.  And the more I smell beef jerky, the more my stomach gets upset and the more...you get the drift.

...yeah.  There are so far only two constant smells in the world that will kick start my not-really-there gag reflex.  Beef jerky and vanilla.  I am a strange, strange person.

I was just slightly sick to my stomach a few minutes ago--I feel a LITTLE bitter. LOTS of belching, stomach upset, and, well, smelling like a bag of beef jerky. -.-

Oh. *blinks* Well, that would explain the shared smell. And I was all "There's no pain in the chest area thing! It's not heart burn!"

...eeewwwww. (Er, it occurs to me I've had this before only I didn't think of it except for the smell and it's probably related to stress, isn't it?)

Acid tummy is in the tummy. Heartburn is higher, in the esophagus.

If you can get your hands on anything with mint in it, that'll help. Min tea, Altoids, whatever is handy, just the stronger the better. It'll cut the smell and ease your tummy. Plus, it'll taste good.

I'm not a huge fan of mint but I do have some relaxing tea with it in it. Oohh, I'll go make some of that.

Thank you. :D

No prob. Altoids work better for me than Tums, 'cause of the mint in 'em. :-)
