I...just...gah!

*MANY FLAILING*

I just wrapped up the first season of Doctor Who.  And I'm just...gah!  And eee!  And much crying!  And OH MY GOD WHAT AM I GOING TO DO BETWEEN NOW AND SATURDAY?!  (I get to start watching the second season on Saturday.)

Question for those who've watched the older stuff:  was the doctor/companion/and friends that touchy?  I mean, seriously, much with the touching.  I can't tell if it was the Doctor or...well, a product of Rose.  Because, really, Jack is special in his own way with the touching. (*touches Jack a lot*)

I seriously love this show like I haven't loved another show in years.  I think my obsession for this hits what I went through when I got introduced to Firefly.

7doc and Ace were crazy with the touching. So much that it gave me the firm 7doc/Ace shippiness that I have today. Karolina FIRMLY denies it, as does Lyssie. But dude, it's SO THERE!!!

I don't remember there being as much touching in the older series. My favourite was the Blonde cricket playing Doctor (WHo I can't remember the actor's name, or which number doctor he was.) But Tom Baker's doctor used to give people jelly babies. (I think he's the fourth.)

That was Doctor #5, and I believe Peter Davidson. (and incidentally, a hottie.)

Tom Baker was #4, Colin Baker was the abominal #6, Sylester McCoy was #7, #8 was Paul McGann.

Was Davidson in the stripey pants of orange doom? And yeah, from what I've read Baker was the least favorite of the Doctors.

And for good reason because, good god, garish colors!

C. Baker was the godawful coat. Davidson was the cricket jacket with celery in it. Tom Baker was the scarf from whoa.

I keep seeing pictures of the 5th Doctor and thinking "When was Chase a Time Lord?"

Then I get Doctor Who/House crossovers in my head and it's insane.

I had a massive crush on Peter Davidson when I was a kid.

It's awesome, isn't it? Would you like me to send you Torchwood in avi files? It's kind of like really good badfic and has a very angsty Jack starring in it.

We do some of the time. *grins* We also get Jack showing up at the last minute and saving the day a lot.

I need your address?

*pets Jack* I've heard we'll get some of Jack in the third season of Doctor Who?

We *should* if everything I've heard works out the way it's supposed to and they're not just teasing us like horrible teasing people. Do you have the most recent Chrismas special with your 10th Doctor stuff? Because I can just toss that on, too.

*flails* Ohh, no I don't.

And I really hope they go through with that. Because that would be the best thing ever, it really would. (Besides having Rose suddenly be on Torchwood...*innocent*)

It really would be, because 10 is adorable in so many ways and less traumatised than 9. (Even if you do want to smack him upside the head).

I can't comment on Rose, though, without spoiling season 2 of the new Doctor Who.

I found out some of it before it happened but not all of it, as I was downloading it as it was broadcast.
