Ended up home sick today - was just going to take the morning off due to bad insomnia but after I fell asleep at 6, I woke up at 10 feeling like a train hit me. That cold that I'd been keeping at bay apparently saw the perfect opportunity. I did discover after lunch some cold medicine (hello Dayquil) and that seems to be helping - I've got a meeting I have to be in tomorrow and I'm off for a few days next week, so I really can't miss more days.
After lunch, I decided to finally catch up on shows that I started watching (The Walking Dead, Leverage, Sherlock) but never got around to because - well, no clue. I know that my preferred TV watching are shows like Dirty Jobs and things like Alaskan State Troopers because I can keep them on in the background while I read or muck about on the computer. So real shows tend to lag.
And then I just got sucked into TWD, so I've just watched three episodes back to back and, hey! That guy from Boondock Saints is in this! Hello, Norman Reedus, aren't you a pretty sight for sore eyes? Even if you're dirty. And a redneck.
But they've armed you with a crossbow and have you running around with a sleeveless shirt, so I'm happy.
I'm in such a zombie kind of mood - I'll eventually catch up on Leverage and Sherlock but I'm completely hooked on TWD at the moment. Even though it's scaring the crap out of me. They show this on AMC? Seriously?
