Ah, Ballston
Nov. 4th, 2008 08:45 amI'm not sure why but Ballston Metro stop always seems to be filled with people handing out fliers, especially around election day. I know Grovsner is a little out of the way - though we've had some people stumping over there - but getting from and to the Ballston stop to work feels like a gauntlet. I had seven, seven, people in one block ask me if I'm voting.

There's a reason I go the longish way to the metro in the afternoons and that's to avoid the Greenpeace/random environmental group name here that's handing out fliers and wants me to give them money. I understand philanthropy and fundraising (duh) but trying to grab me on the way to/leaving work is never a good time.
