Oh, self, why you so stupid?

indiana_jSo I got home last night (well, afternoon as I bugged out at 2:30, not 3:30, so I could go pick up medicine and just escape from the office) and thought I'd forgotten my cell phone at work. It was only right before bed that I realized that the cat had been playing table hockey with it and I rescued it from her evil little paws.
...where I promptly left it this morning on my way too work. Oh good grief. Either I need to stable it to my hand or just wait for phone chip brain implants.

My parents 32nd anniversary is this Thursday and I still don't know what to get them. Bah. Mom got dad an iPad and I don't know what he's gotten her yet. He probably doesn't know yet, either. Oh Dad.
This also means I get the entire house to myself* as they're leaving Friday afternoon for a weekend away - sadly, I'm too tired to pretend I'm 16 and invite people over "while the parents are away" kind of deal. ;) Instead, there will be some bottles of wine and catching up on shows like Sherlock, Walking Dead and Leverage.
*For those playing at home, yes, this means I moved back in with my parents for a specific amount of time while I tackled debt. I was really embarrassed by it when it happened and didn't tell everyone but, really, I'm not exactly alone in this venture at the moment (I have a co-worker doing the same thing). So, there we have it.
