indiana_jI've set up shop with Nikola on the patio - it's in the mid 60s with a nice wind blowing and, as much as I hate the time changes, the extra sunlight is delightful as always as winter ends. Currently, I've got a soda but I might switch to a nice glass of red from the bottle I bought for myself a few weeks ago. Someone nearby is obviously grilling something and it makes me long for a nice BBQ.
I adore BBQ but we can't have one on the patio, which is sad but understandable.
I was going to cook tonight (meatloaf with bacon) but the lack of sleep last night and the headache from work make me just want to have a glass of wine and not do ... anything, really.
Work this week has actually been really good. I've had a ton of meetings but I've managed to get a lot accomplished. It's a nice feeling to have - not dreading the workload of the day. Not that there's not a lot left to do as new things come in but I no longer have a wave of work threatening to crash over my head and drown me.
