indiana_jUgh, I smell like dog now. I went out to go to GameStop and I saw this dog wandering the streets but since it had a collar on, I assumed the owner was just walking it sans leash (it happens around here from time to time). But when I got back, he was still there so I put my stuff up, grabbed my cellphone and headed out to see him.
Turns out he belonged to an older couple a few houses down which is a good thing because, uh, I'm not really a strange dog person. I made sure he sat before I got over to him but he wouldn't let me see his collar and every time he jerked away, I got more nervous. Was about to call the local animal shelter when the neighbors across the street came out and we figured out where he belonged.
And now the cats are unimpressed with me. -.-

Had a great time yesterday though I need to stop getting my hopes up. Still, fun time.
