Blaaargh

My feet are torn up, I managed to break a tooth in my sleep and my dad leaves the country in a little over a week.  I repeat, blaaargh.

Also, anyone know any good things to try for slight motion sickness?  I never get to the point where I want to throw up but my stomach does get upset and I get all...hot.  (And yeah, this is on the metro and when I try to read.  It's close to what I get if I try to read in the car but not as bad and I get it when I'm on the metro and not reading but not all the time.)

Peppermint Altoids, candied ginger, mint tea, or possibly ginger Altoids, as I'm not sure whether they have real ginger in them the way the peppermint ones have real peppermint oil.

Ginger ale and gingersnaps. Both SLOWLY. Sip, nibble, don't chug and chew.

Ah, Altoids--I think I can score some from my dad. He loves them.

Why is it all the nasty stuff helps with stomach upsets? (Well, I associate ginger ale with that so that probably doesn't help.) Though thankfully, I think work has some ginger ale and I can steal some from them.
