Nobody makes me bleed my own blood!

I was trying to put together a laptop tray that stands when it attempted to kill me; the top part, which is wood (or hard fake wood), came undone from where I'd secured it and swung down right on top of my head. There was enough pain to cause me to tear up (i.e., I did cry, I'm only slightly ashamed) but I shook it off, bent over aaaaannd reached up to touch my forehead when I felt blood trickle down into my eye.
Essentially, there's no big damage. It hit right where I have a mole and cut it; of course, cuts on the head bleed like a stuck pig. (Oh, and I did.) So, cut on the head, bruising, headache (and a weird slight need to nap and wobbly legs that lasted about 10 or 15 minutes after it had happened) and slightly upset stomach but no concussion.
I've been alternating between feeling sorry for myself, amusement and hatred that's directed towards the new laptop tray.
