So sleepy

Mom and I pretty much spent the entire afternoon / early evening out and about.  We had to go to Walmart (where I bought fuzzy socks because it's that time of year again), Walgreens (Uno cards!  I love Uno) to find a back pillow for my dad, Wendy's for lunch (ugh, kind of gross, actually) and then, finally, Safeway for grocery shopping.

This week, I'm cooking:  Shrimp Pumpkin Curry (I know, right?) and an apple glazed chicken, next week is a quiche and I'm going to attempt to make a cheese soufflé.  *crosses fingers*  Also, I snagged some Sam Adams Cherry Wheat because it's one of the few fruit-y flavored bears that I like - any pumpkin flavored beer tastes like dish washing liquid. :P 

I doubt we'll break out the Uno cards tonight but I'm pretty sure we're going to watch the new Winnie the Pooh movie my mom picked up (don't laugh, I totally want to see this).  And tomorrow's going to be an XP and PSIII kind of day.  

Today really would have been an idea nap day due to the snow but that wasn't in the cards.  I did get my most favorite Starbucks drinks ever - the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate - which was nice.  'Tis now the season of apple cider which means the season of warm apple cider + rum!  I love this season!

I think I'm going to go off to find my new fuzzy socks and make myself some hot apple cider.
