XD It was fun, though - the BBQ was a blast and I completely lost track of how many people came by eventually. incandescently and a surprise doqz which was awesome. I spent a majority of the evening geeking out with them, Ben and Alex, eating fantastic BBQ food and enjoying our backyard.
It better have been enjoyed. Stupid mowing.
It was probably the biggest thing we've ever done at the house and I think it ended up being a fantastic event. (Though someone might have caught a wiffle ball with their face...) There were several lessons learned (more hamburgers, less hot dogs) but overall there was MORE than enough food to feed everyone and the stragglers ended up being cheerful manual labor. :D
I also discovered I like rhubarb cobbler pie thing. Mmm.
