Home sick because

I'm a dumbass.  I've been taking sleeping pills since I got back from Vancouver because my sleep cycle was all messed up.  Last night, I took two and then ...

Woke up half an hour later, went "I hadn't taken my sleeping pills!" and took another one.  Cue me being feeling stupid and sick and I'm still staggering around the house like a drunk.  Called out sick, though I will be working on e-mail since I've got the database on my computer, because there's no way I can drive like this.

It wasn't as bad as the time when I was living with frito_kal and accidentally (though the same exact way!) took two of my Ambien within half an hour of each other, thankfully.  But, still, I'm a dumbass and I'll not be taking the pills again for a while.

That was so much worse and I'm just glad it wasn't that bad yesterday. Maybe I should start writing myself notes that read "You already took this! Don't take it again!" when I do take my sleeping pills ...

Ack. I did a similar thing once, when I got confused and took a sleeping pill in the morning, rather than at night.

Ai hate the hangover feeling that goes with taking too many of them.

Oouuuuch. I almost did that once but caught myself in time.

Generally I'm okay, though not with the doubling dose of course. The only bad thing is if I don't lay down fast enough and then I get dizzy.

Bad things. Very, very bad things. I'm pretty sure I slept in the bathroom for most of the night, trying to make the room stop spinning.
