It hasn't started here yet. I'm just glad it's on a weekend because seriously? People drive like complete morons when there is even a suggestion of snow and no way would I want to battle that in town on a work day.

I only wish it moved to Sunday, so then I'd have Monday off (we follow the Federal Government and if this had hit Sunday/Monday, they would have closed). *staaares out the window*

My inner three year old is spazzing like a kid on Mountain Dew. My 28 year old self is thanking god for hot chocolate and booze.

We would probably still have work. xD My lawfirm doesn't let us out for anything.

Oooooh. Hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. Mmmmm. So good sounding. I don't know if we have it in though! And I'm kinda sad my puppy is going to have his first snow but he can't go out because he's still all full of stitches. :(

He's in good spirits considering. But yeah, he's used to running around and playing and well, yeah, that's not going to happen much in the snow.

Major airlines are letting you rebook for the 21st or later now with no fee. Something to think about before all those flights get full.

Um, yes, they actually already rebooked me? But Jen tends to get my tongue-in-cheek dramatics, and the 21st kind of jerks my schedule around.

Why was there no snow last winter when I didn't have to shovel anything?? *grr*

See, we're flopped this year - last year I had to shovel stuff. Now I'm 14 stories above the mess on the ground. (How's the new place, btw?)

Nah, by Monday/Tuesday, all the roads will be clear so we'll probably have some stuff left on the side but you should be okay. :D

F'in figures that this "winter wallop" would occur when the Bay and Ocean are still warm enough to keep temperatures here high enough so that it ends up as rain for us. I swear, we'd better get another one of these next month/February so I can enjoy some freakin' snow too!

I'd say too bad you weren't up here but then you'd be stuck! (I hope for lots of snow this winter because, come on, snow days from work!)

I want days of accumulation (which, will then hopefully lead to days from work too!). Lucky for us, it takes a minor amount to freak everyone out and close everything down!

That's true - we'd just sit around and watch stuff and mess around on the XBox and whatnot. Man, that sounds relaxing...

The federal government is getting more stubborn about their closings but I keep hoping for more snow days!
