iPod question

A few days ago, I noticed a small black line on the screen of my iPod.  It wasn't big so I ignored it - now, though, it runs from one side to the other and seems to be collecting friends.  Anyone know if that's fixable?

Fantastic - a lot of them ended up having to send theirs in for repairs and got new ones instead of being repaired. Of course, that's with a warranty which I don't have anymore.

Time to save up for a new one, I suppose.

If you don't need an actual ipod, there are lots of good deals out there.

Sadly, most of my songs are from iTunes and they only recently started selling them without the coding to make them playable on other devices.

I know you're limited to ipods for most of your library, but there's a very good $15 player on woot.com today and I thought of you.

get an apple care kit. They're 30 bucks about, buy it, stick it on there, then in about a week call them and ask about your screen. If anything, it'll be like the time I static fried my ipod and I had one that I'd never activated. I activated it, called in, they sent me a box to send in my ipod, and when they figured out I'd totaled it, they sent me a new one.

When they sent you a new one, did you have a warranty? I purchased mine refurbished about a year/two years ago, no warranty. Hrm.
