It's sucked my brains out. Anyone who's seen Advent Children will get this. ;)

"First Cloud and now you. Why'd you even get that thing if you weren't going to use it?! Cid answers his phone when I call even if all he does is bitch and moan! Okay, fine, whatever, Vincent, just make sure you pass on the message to Cloud since he lost his phone. You both are needed at the ship, get your butts over here pronto!"
Vincent's eyes flicked down to the phone on his hip and then back up, a simple gesture but his companion cracked a small smile. "How many is that?" the other man asked.
"Twenty-five," Vincent said simply.
"Answered any?"
"Two."
"Which?"
"The first two."
"All from Yuffie?"
"Who else?"
"Tifa will call once Yuffie gives her the number," Cloud said simply, dragging his motorcycle out of the ditch where it had skidded off the road to. Thanks to the group now sprawled on the ground around their feet he was going to be late with his delivery.
And Cid was going to have his hide for scratching the paint job.
Vincent snorted softly, hiding a brief smile of his own beneath his cloak. "I don't suppose I need to worry about that. You already gave Tifa my phone number. I suppose she is only bidding her time until she bothers me as well." His hand drifted down to his hip. "They have no right calling this phone, it's mine."
"Then why have a cell phone if no one calls it?"
"Hypocrite."
Cloud just shrugged.
"Perhaps," Vincent murmured, turning back to head in the direction that would take them to the rest of the group, "I will simply give out your new number in return. Then there will be no more 'lost phone' problems and they will leave me alone."
"Not likely."
"No, not likely at all."

*giggles* The cell phone thing with Vincent in the movie cracked me up and the conversation that you get with the recap for the game totally made me think of this. :D

I also bet Cloud answers the phone when Tifa calls these days, if only to avoid the whole "Oh, I get it, 'there's not a thing in the world I don't cherish' works when you're fighting evil, but not when your girlfriend calls, huh?" issue.

*cackles* Yep, I bet he'll really only answer her calls these days. Everyone else'll still get the answering machine for the most part. Cloud has let go but he's still the emo boy we all love.

And everybody but Barret (because let's face it, Barret's a hell of a guy but he's got nothing but cheese between his ears) just calls Tifa now when they want to get ahold of Cloud. *snicker* Oh man, I bet it would be so easy to set him up a surprise birthday party or something.
