Oh.  Oh hell, okay...

I'm probably going to get my period soon if my mood swings/crazy brain day are any indication.  I don't remember the mood swings being this bad but, here's something sort of important...

I had my last period last month some time.  The time before that, though?  September or October, I can't remember which.  So I went around 5 months without my period and, trust me, last time was horrific.  I probably should have suspected that my next one, no matter when it was, would end up being just as bad.

I really need to make a doctor's appointment.  The whole 5-8 months inbetween periods used to plague me before I went on the pill but I've been off it for the last two or three years now.  I think it's time I actually got an appointment (haven't seen the GYN in about 2 years -.-) and got this stuff straightened out.

Now that I've figured out what the hell happened today (on top of bad insomnia, eating habits thrown out the window and stress), I can probably keep an eye on it for the next few days.  This isn't an excuse for crazy behavior, because it's still bad, but I'm now longer sort of freaking myself out about what happened today.  (It just reminded me of the bad days, you know?)

Also, is it bad that I've been so busy at work that I haven't used the restrooms there long enough to forget the passcode to get into the ladies room? XD

Ack, been there and done that. The best thing is generally going back on the pill, sadly.

Call the doctor tomorrow. I know Lori's email address, I'll tell her to order you to take a 10 minute break to call if I have to.

(oh yes, doesn't it suck to know that I still know all those email addresses and I will totally use them to bully pressure you?

(Seriously, if you want a reminder, I'll call and/or email you one in the morning. I'm up around 7, so that's around 10 your time which is a good time to take a break to call the doctor)

*hugs* Please do call the doc, it might be that she can help and I worry that this could get worse for you without intervention of some kind--back on the pill, or whatever.

Also, re: your post earlier today: I am demanding NOWNOWNOW that you take some time today to do something for yourself. Hug the kitty senseless, watch tv, read, take a walk, something. Jen-time.

Hang in there!!

Yeah, please see the doc - I'm sure he'll be more helpful than mine was, when I saw him about the periods every 1 - 2 years thing and the answer was "you have PCOS. Just go lose some weight."

(Because, well, I've failed to lose the weight so I'm kind of not going back to get it looked at again.)

I hate to hear people avoiding the doctor because it's so important to make sure all of your parts are in working order. If your doctor is rude, definitely find another. My first gyn told me I was too furry and had to shave when I was 16 and didn't plan for anyone to look at me naked for quite a while. She also told me to go on weight watchers. She really hurt me and I refused to see her ever again even though my mom and sister thought she was a great doctor.

Also my cousin didn't want to go to the gyn because she felt too fat and when she finally got the nerve to go, they found she had advanced breast cancer and she died. It could have been treated if she had gone to the doctor sooner. So I'm really paranoid and thinking about it breaks my heart. Just my soapbox, sorry.
