I so love Donna the Awesome and you wrote her just brilliantly. Her categorizing all the things in the supply closet was fabulous. And this line:

"It's as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning."

was made of pure win. I hope you write more on this. I'd love to see the Jack and Rose interplay your ending hinted at. So much fun, this story.
