I GOT MY PASSPORT!  It's in my hot little hands right now!  Or, well, right now my cat is sitting on -- I think she might be trying to hatch little passports or something.  I got it!  I can go to England!  I can see my parents and Kate and Alasdair and EEEEE!  I'M GOING TO ENGLAND!  (This brought to you by my paranoia that it would be denied and I'd spend my Christmas alone, in despair.  My brain is a funny place.)

...I can fly to Toronto!  (Not at the same time, mind you but I can!  Whenever I want!  I don't have to drive!)

...dear GOD, American passports got fugly.  And I look drugged.

Passport pictures are the only ones worse than driver's license pictures. Mine makes me look sick.

I hope I get mine soon, or else I'll be the one spending Christmas alone :( When did you do your paperwork? That Monday after you came down? I put in mine that Weds.

Yep, I put it in on the Monday before the holidays. You should get yours sometime next week since you did it right the day before Thanksgiving.

Don't worry -- if they decided to let me out of the country, they'll let you out as well. :)

It doesn't help that you're not allowed to smile on them any more beause of that whole face scanning thing they do with computers now. :P Mine's terrible.

I look sulky and stoned on mine. Although, that's probably what I looked like whilst going through customs at the airport, so. ;)
