Wants it now!

My amazon shipment has been sent off so I should receive it by Friday.  *flails*  It contains Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance - Now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem, The Secret History of Moscow, and a random zombie/end of the world/vampire book - it pushed me up to free shipping. ^.^  Gives it to me now.

I was also randomly 'attacked' by a corgi and a terrier this morning on my way in - well, my shoes were, anyway.  The owner was very apologetic but I didn't mind and I got to spoil them for a few minutes before I went in to get my breakfast.

WIPs

I normally don't talk a lot about the stories I have in progress because I sometimes tend to just drop an idea.  But one of the things that bothered me about the season finale for Doctor Who was the lack of - reaction, I suppose, between Rose and the people she'd left behind.  Jack, at least, Jack!  But no.  So I wondered about the potential reasons why and I came up with the idea that perhaps while Rose hadn't been successful in finding the Doctor, she had been successful in getting in touch with her former friends and allies - it twists some of the things in the finale but not by a huge bunch.

It's not often, though, that I fall in love with a title but I'm thinking I have.  It's going to be called "A Call To Arms, a Story Told in Four Parts" with the subsequent stories falling under the following titles: 

A Call to Arms: The Captain
A Call to Arms: The Woman from UNIT
A Call to Arms: The Reporter
A Call to Arms: The Politician

I'm only just getting to the good bits in ACTA: The Captain but I'm so amused - I'll have to make sure I push through and get these written. ^.^
